RECRUITMENT PROCEDURE

Licensed recruiting agents are authorized by the Nepalese Government to recruit personnel for foreign employment on behalf of overseas employers.  These agents allowed making direct contact and negotiation with overseas employers for procuring vacancies.  The recruitment procedures for recruiting Nepalese workers are follows:

Documentations

After initial enquiry for recruitment, the prospective employer is required to arrange following duly authenticated/attested documents to finalise the process:

  • Demand Letter

  • Power of Attorney

  • Agreement for Manpower Recruitment

  • Employment contract (Specimen)

Recruitment Authority

The recruitment company apply with Department of Labour Nepal for authorisation, the Department of Labour will grant the permission on being satisfied about the credibility of the demand and attesting that terms and conditions offered are conformity with the Government regulation.  The permission allows the recruitment company to advertise the demand in local and national news papers and also allows starting the recruitment process.

The company maintains an up to date data bank of potential candidates with full information on his skill, trade qualification and experience and advertising allows other to compete for the post too. The final interview for sort listed candidates after pre screening can be conducted by the employer or his representative or by this company on their behalf. The selection is made purely on merit basis not on racial, secretarial or considered action. The company is confident that the personnel selected by the selection committee will fulfil the employers’ need and earn reputation and appreciation from the employer.  


  Interviewing Skilled Labour             

Medical Check ups

Only selected candidates will be sent to an authorized hospital or clinic for a full medical examination. The candidate, who is fit medically and physically for employment will be eligible to sign the employment contract.

Endorsement of Visa

The Stevand Overseas Services (P) Ltd precedes the procedure of Visa endorsement through the concerned embassy on receiving the original Visa document like consular letter (Attn. To His Excellence Consular General), Demand Letter mentioning the salary, duty hours, food, accommodation and other benefits provided by the company, power of attorney authorizing to us as a concerning arrangement and to sign all necessary document on behalf of sponsor.

Departure Formalities

Once visa is endorsed into selected individuals' passport or once No Objection certificate (Paper Visa) is received, the employer are required to send PTA for the selected candidates.  The employer may remit travelling expenses in favour of the recruiting agent to facilitate travelling arrangement of selected candidates.  The Recruiting Company than obtains necessary government clearance for departure from Department of Labour and completes all formalities for departure from Nepal.

Orientation  

Prior to the departure of workers the orientation briefing is organised to make all workers fully aware of the employment country's laws and orders, labour laws immigration policy and maintain understanding and cordiality among them self and aim of the particular activity of the individual. The Orientation take special care in briefing them to strictly abide by the guide line in the field of their employment and direct them to maintain good circumstance and motivates them to their duties/responsibilities.  

Travelling Arrangements  

The air tickets can be provided either by PTA or local purchase on employer behalf to avoid delay.  In all case, we sent all the Visa endorsements, passport to the concerned Airlines, to confirm the schedule flight from Nepal to the nearest Airport of the working site. PTA may be sent to any Airlines operating from Kathmandu under intimation to us.  The Company provides the Airport assistance in Nepal for departing candidates and informs the employer of their departure through fax, email or telephone.
