Terms & Conditions

1. Salary Scale: The following salary structures are only for guideline, based on 8 hours   per day, 6 days a week.  However, this may very much depend upon individual companies'  rules and regulations in addition to negotiations prior to accepting the employment contract.

Professionals US$ 1,000 to1, 500 per month
Highly Skilled   US$ 500 to 700 per month
Skilled US$ 300 to 500 per month
Semi - Skilled  US$ 250 to 350 per month
Unskilled  US$ 150 to 250 per month

2. Other Facilities for workers:  

The allowances are not included as these may also be dependent upon the employing companies existing rules and regulations and should be decided prior to issuing a demand letter, however the following basic facilities and benefits should be included:

  • Free Food and single shared accommodations or allowances. 

  • Overtime, Medical, sick leave, annual vacations and appropriate insurance cover for accidental death and work related injuries. 

  • Joining Air ticket and return ticket after completion of contract.

3. Recruitment Fee:

The recruitment fee is negotiated and decided during the initial enquiry, prior to signing             recruitment agreement between employer and Stevand Gurkha. It is normally a one time fee payable on completion of recruitment. 

4.Responsibilities of Manpower supplier:

Upon receiving confirmation of demand from employer complete with all necessary legal document for recruitment, advertising, and screening of candidates and Organising Nepal visit of employer for final interview.  Medical examination, basic insurance and government clearance for successful candidates' orientation and timely travel arrangement.           

5. Responsibilities of Employer:

Prospective employers will have to comply with the rules and regulations of Nepal for the             recruitment of Nepalese citizen for work overseas.  This procedure includes a letter of demand, a specimen employment contract, manpower recruitment agreement between manpower supplier and employer and Power of attorney to authorise manpower service to act as agent.  The employer is responsible for arranging work permit/employment visa/No objection Certificate.
